The experience was amazing

The experience during Sports Day organised by CREDAI MCHI Thane was amazing. All of us who participated were happy playing for our team. I hope that next year too, the tournament continues with the same format.

On the ground, team spirit was visible. For all women players who were on field that day, it was a challenge to play our roles as part of the team – and I am happy to say that all players, women platers included, gave their best on the field. All of us who participated had a nice experience, especially when the tournament has women playing as part of the team, along with their male colleagues. We work together in the office, but this was a unique experience – being part of a team which aimed to win.

Each over is very crucial in every game of cricket, and there was pressure on women platers who had to compulsorily bowl one over. For me, it was clear that any mix-up on my part would cost my team, that one over can be change the game. So, I bowled well, even under pressure. I am happy with my performance in the tournament, and also proud of my colleagues – we were a team that made its presence felt!
