Puranik Panthers Emerge Winners of CREDAI MCHI Thane Under Arm Cricket Tournament
Thane/Mumbai, 06 Feb 2026: Puranik Panthers clinched the title of the CREDAI MCHI Thane Under Arm Cricket Tournament, held on 5 February 2026 at Leno Sports Park, Balkum, Thane. The tournament saw participation from 18 teams and was graced by Bollywood actors Madhurima Roy, Sofia Khan and Aditi Shetty.
"The event showcased the spirit of sportsmanship and camaraderie, with participants displaying exceptional teamwork," said Sachin Mirani, President, CREDAI MCHI Thane.
Puranik Panthers defeated IIA Thane in the final match, while Agniveer also qualified for the tri-series. Individual awards were presented to Sunil Kadam (IIA Thane) as Man of the Series and Best Batsman, Shivam Gupta (Puranik Panthers) as Best Bowler, and Waqas Siddique (Puranik Panthers) as Best Fielder.

The tournament was a grand success, and the organizing committee looks forward to the next edition, said Ehtesham Khan, event organiser and President, Mumbra-Kausa-Shil Committee, CREDAI MCHI Thane.
The event saw active support and help from CREDAI MCHI Thane members including Amit Datar, Secretary-Redevelopment Committee; Gaurav Sharma, President-Elect;
Nimit Mehta, President-Youth Wing, Manish Khandelwal, Vice President and
Suresh Thakkar, Committee Member.
