Puranik Panthers are Champions of CREDAI MCHI Thane Under Arm Cricket Tournament

Puranik Panthers emerged victorious in the CREDAI MCHI Thane Under Arm Cricket Tournament, held at Leno Sports Park, Balkum, Thane on February 5, 2026. The tournament, which saw participation from 18 teams, was graced by Bollywood actors Madhurima Roy, Sofia Khan, and Aditi Shetty.

Sachin Mirani, President of CREDAI MCHI Thane, expressed his delight, saying, "The event showcased the spirit of sportsmanship and camaraderie, with participants displaying exceptional teamwork."

Puranik Panthers defeated IIA Thane in the final match, while Agniveer also qualified for the tri-series. Individual awards were presented to Sunil Kadam (IIA Thane) as Man of the Series and Best Batsman, Shivam Gupta (Puranik Panthers) as Best Bowler, and Waqas Siddique (Puranik Panthers) as Best Fielder.

Ehtesham Khan, the event convenor, ensured a splendid event, and the organizing committee is grateful to the sponsors, including Kalpataru Doors, Vicky Patel, VIPS - Security Partner Radhika Ahya Shetty, for their support.
