‘First Sale’ property buyers in Maharashtra will no longer need to visit sub-registrar offices to pay stamp duty and obtain e-stamp certificates for the ‘first sale’, as these facilities will be available online from May 1, under the ‘One State, One Registration’ initiative.
This move aims at making property registration more convenient and efficient. Thaneites will get advantage of this e-initiative, making the process of registering a ‘first sale’ of property “e-easy”.

Online property registration for ‘first sales’ was first introduced in Mumbai on pilot basis and will be now extended across the state.
