As a developer who has created globally themed projects in real estate projects which redefined Thane’s real estate growth; as also the past president of CREDAI MCHI Thane, I've had the privilege of witnessing firsthand the city's transformation into a thriving metropolis.

Thane's growth is undeniable, with the city being recognized as one of India's fastest-growing cities. However, this growth needs to be counterbalanced with robust infrastructure to ensure sustainable development, and this is what the on-going infrastructure projects suggest will happen.

Several ongoing projects are set to revolutionize Thane's infrastructure landscape. Some notable initiatives include the Kalu River Dam project, which will ensure sufficient water supply for Thane’s future. The project for garbage segregation and processing is another major initiative which will make Thane “future perfect”.

I look upon these infrastructure projects enhancing Thane’s future - the Metro Line 4, Thane-Borivali Twin Tunnel, Thane Coastal Road, Metro Line 5 and the Internal Metro.

Impact on Property Values and Quality of Life:

These infrastructure projects will not only enhance connectivity but also increase property values and improve the overall quality of life in Thane. Historically, infrastructure upgrades have led to a 20- 30% surge in property prices. With improved connectivity, reduced travel times, and enhanced amenities, Thane is becoming an attractive destination for residential and commercial investments.
